The HAPIShield is a soft, easy-to-wear cap designed to prevent Hospital Acquired Pressure Injuries (HAPI) caused by respiratory care devices. It works by safely securing oxygen tubing—such as nasal cannulas and high-flow nasal cannulas (HFNC)—above the ear to reduce pressure and friction. Additionally, the cap can be worn under BIPAP or CPAP masks to protect the skin against irritation and breakdown along mask straps.
